“I came across your podcast in October and slowly started applying your practices into my daily routine. My pre Sassy & Pearl day consisted of cereal, sandwich, pasta, diet soda, ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter’, & Marlboro Lights. In the past month I have gone completely all natural/organic and it’s been amazing to say the least! Before every meal I think to myself “#jerf” and is as simple as that. For the last 5 years I have been an obsessive calorie counter using MyFitnessPal for everything I eat. What a joke… I’d set my calories at 1200 and eat fat-free processed foods all day long. So sad, lol. Sometimes at the end of the night I would just have diet cokes because I was out of calories… I deleted my beloved MyFitnessPal App 3 weeks ago and I felt so liberated. That was also the day I had my last cigarette. You guys have made me really care about what I’m putting in my body. For example today for breakfast I made eggs with organic butter, garlic, and veggies. For lunch I had a huge salad with veggies, lentils, avocados, and organic dressing. For dinner tonight My husband grilling grass fed steak with veggies and purple sweet potatoes that we bought from our very 1st trip to the farmers market today! My new heaven! Lol!

I apologize for this ridiculously long message… I just wanted you to know how thankful I am to you both for inspiring me to start this real food journey that has freed me from the calorie obsessed, processed food garbage prison I’d lived in for so long. I feel energized, healthy, & happy! So go ahead and pat yourselves on the back, because you are quite incredible.”
